North of Barcelona and high above the Mediterranean is the Penedés of Spain, home of Cava. The vineyards of Villafranca get a little warmer and wetter than is normal for the area.

The Villafranca house blend of Xarello, Macabeu, Parellada grapes is made in the Methode Traditionelle (champagne style) and is clean and gentle. The Casteller Cava has aromas of toast conjoined with bright apple flavors.
