Port

Famous for their age-defying capabilities, port will last for several years unopened. Because of this special property, we strongly suggest the purchase of at least 3 bottles. You can choose three of the same or mix and match. Many, but not all of these bottles have stained or blemished labels, but we can assure you, from personal experience, that the contents are delicious.

Fonseca Porto Late Bottled Vintage 2001

A robust, old-fashioned LBV with exceptional body and grip produced primarily from foot-trodden wines from Fonseca’s vineyards. It is intense, firm and long on the finish, with impressive depth and complexity in the rich Fonseca style.

Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Port

Six Grapes is one of Graham’s original Port marques. It is a big-hearted wine, sourced from the same vineyards (essentially Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta das Lages) that contribute to Graham’s famed Vintage Ports in ‘declared’ years. As such, it closely resembles Graham’s Vintage Port style: full-bodied, with rich opulent black fruit on the palate and fragrant brambly aromas. Six Grapes is bottled relatively young (between 3 and 4 years) in order to retain the freshness and vigour comparable to a young Vintage Port.

Ramos Pinto Porto Tawny

Founded by Adriano Ramos Pinto in 1880, Casa Ramos Pinto rapidly became noted, at the time, for its innovative and enterprising strategy. Associated with quality bottled wines, it began operating on the Brazilian market in the early 20th century and quickly became responsible for half of the wine exported to South America, whilst it was still conquering generations of loyal customers in Portugal and Europe. These were the natural results of a forward thinking strategy, based on the modernization of selection, batching and aging circuits, and the special care which Adriano Ramos Pinto devoted to the packaging and promotion of his wines.

Taylor Fladgate Vargellas Port 2005

Quinta de Vargellas vintage ports are one of a small handful of single estate ports to have achieved the stature and reputation of the great 'declared' vintages and to be traded regularly at auction. Still as prized today as they were over 180 years ago, these distinctive wines are one of the longest established of all single estate ports.
